Well, we're going to start off with Anderson because there's two big stories coming out tonight.One of them is coming out from the BBC.BBC, the British Broadcasting Corporation, one of the oldest, probably the oldest with the times, news corporation in the United Kingdom.What they're saying tonight is that Manchester United are losing the race for Elliott Anderson to Manchester City.Man United appreciate the player but are unwilling to overpay or get dragged into drawn -out talks.

It is believed that Anderson is favouring a move to Manchester City and they are leading the race.And as I said, the valuation between Nottingham Forest and City is far apart at the moment, meaning the situation could still beCity and Forrest are far apart on valuation.Anderson is swaying towards City and Man United are unwilling to get involved in overpaying for Elliot Anderson.So that's the latest update we've got.

However, This came out today.Everybody's been talking about it.This came out from Hand of Arsenal, which is a social media account on X with 300 ,000 followers.This post of theirs has had 4 million interactions.It is my understanding there is seriously confident expectation now for a decision on the Man City 1 -1 -5 case to be delivered in the coming weeks, sometime in the summer latest.

All Premier League clubs await official confirmation.And on from those rumours, a lot of people are saying that it's going to be Manchester City found guilty with a huge points deduction and a transfer ban.Now, look, we've heard that before.We've heard that before.And as Jim says, not happening.I mean, we don't know.

We have heard it before, but it does.Let's let's let's leave city there and say, look, something's going to happen in the next few months.And let me just say this.If city get found guilty, there will be an appeal and that will be another year or two.However, we did a video at lunchtime.I did a video at lunchtime comparing Edison to Fernandez.

There should be a knock on the door to say, hold on a minute, we will match what Man City will pay.And we will match the wage that Man City will pay.But also, we are in the Champions League.They are in the Champions League.But they've got a new manager.We feel we're a better project.

But also, They can spin whatever bollocks they like, but they can't tell you they're not going to get relegated, and they can't tell you that they're not going to get a transfer ban.So you sign for them, it could be the worst thing you ever do.You sign for Man United, OK, it might not go great, but we ain't getting relegated, we ain't getting a transfer ban, and we ain't getting a points deduction.And you go there with that, and you could be walking into a shitload of pain.And no, they can't guarantee you that's not going to happen.We can.

And that was it.That was end of the conversation.That was literally it.They said, All these United fans going, why wouldn't he choose Man Utd over Man City?Man City might get a points deduction.Remember, Man Utd won't pay for him.

It's got nothing to do with Anderson choosing Man City over Man Utd.We won't pay.We won't overpay.Our message is we won't pay for him.So you're right.Man City might get a points deduction.

Man City might get relegated.They might not.They might be shit under Maresca.Man City might be finished one way or another.But the reason he's favoring Man City is because they're negotiating with Nottingham Forest for a price.And we're going, nah, we're not paying.

We've got four really good midfielders.We want five because we're playing in multiple tournaments and we want Elliot Anderson.But we don't need to spend £100m on him because we've already got four really good players.So we'll walk.We'll walk and we'll spend it on Stiller or something like that.

We're not desperate to do this deal.Now, it's not worth £100m to us in that situation because we don't need to pay £100m for a player that's going to be battling with good players like that.

But in our situation, we've got one midfielder and his name is Mainu and the whole world knows it.So suddenly an £80m player becomes a £100m player.Suddenly a £30 million player becomes a £40 million player.Suddenly a £50 million player becomes a £65 million player.Because we put ourselves into that situation and no journalist and no ex -player has figured this one out.And I don't think a lot of fans have as well.

We can't sit in this position and say, we don't believe they're worth £100 million, we don't believe they're worth £60 million, we don't believe they're worth £40 million.Mate, if you wanted to put yourself in a strong position, you shouldn't be walking into a transfer window with one midfielder.The whole fucking world knows it.The whole world knows we are desperate.We are in a position where we may have to overpay anyway because of the situation we're in.So I find it hilarious when I hear stories that Man United don't want to overpay on midfielders, because to get the good ones, you're probably going to have to overpay.

Now, we will get midfielders, but the ones that we want to pay for might not be the midfielders we should be going for, because the ones that we'll get the price for maybe aren't the best in the shop.you know, maybe we're going to pay cheap for players that nobody else wants because the players that we should be going for, those clubs aren't stupid and know that we, you know, we're desperate.

So I don't think I've heard anybody mention this at all.How can Man United sit there and say about Tonali or Anderson, we're not going to overpay when the whole world knows we're desperate for midfielders and we need to overpay because we need good ones.Like I say, if you've already got three midfielders and you want Tenali, you can say to Newcastle, he wants to come to us, but we're not desperate.So we're not paying some stupid price.So we either negotiate this reasonably or we walk.But United go to Newcastle and say, we want Tenali at a reasonable price and they go, fuck off.

There was a story today, I wanted to talk about it, about Chelsea and Tonali and Bruno Gomeres as well.So, other clubs.I mean, look, how embarrassing will it be if Man United don't sign Tonali, Anderson and Chiomini and one of them goes to Chelsea?How embarrassing would that be if a Tonali or an Anderson or a Chiomini go to Chelsea?

They're not even in Europe.But they might show ambition.Chelsea might do what we don't do.Chelsea might go, we've got to overpay.because we don't have a lot to offer.

So we need to ring up Tenali and say we're going to give Chelsea £100m and we're going to give you £250k a week because we want you at this club and next season you're going to play for us and we're going to get back in the Champions League and in two years' time we're going to win the Premier League and try and win the Champions League.That's what I'm talking about.

but we're happy to keep Mason Mount for another two or three years on 250 grand a week.This is what I mean.We're not serious.We're not serious as a football club.We're not ruthless and we're not aggressive.We're not aggressive to go and get what we want and we're not ruthless to remove the things that allow us to go and get what we want.

We're just plateauing.We just do the same stuff all the time.We went cheap on a coach.
