BREAKING: Pam Bondi caught in SHOCKING new payout scandal
Brian Tyler Cohen
You're watching the legal breakdown at Glenn. It does not get more obvious than this in terms of a blatant new Trump scandal. Can you explain what just happened with one of Donald Trump's closest allies?
Yeah, Brian, in case our viewers haven't gotten their daily dose of outrage by Trump's grift and corruption, hold on tight. The Trump administration and the Department of Justice just paid out more than a million of our taxpayer dollars to Mike Flynn. Remember Mike Flynn is the fallen National Security Adviser and former Army Lieutenant General who lied to the FBI, got caught, went into court back in 2017 and pleaded guilty
to lying to the FBI, went back into court in 2018, and affirmed that he had, in fact, lied to the FBI, and doubled down on his guilty plea, saying, Judge, I want to plead guilty. I want to accept responsibility. His lawyer stepped to the mic and said,
Your Honor, my client's guilty plea is knowing and intelligent and voluntary, and he wants to stick to it. I know because I was in court that day covering the hearing for MSNBC, what was MSNBC back then. And then the presiding judge, Emmett Sullivan, said, well then, arguably, you sold your country
out, Defendant Flynn. And it looked like Judge Sullivan was about to sentence Mike Flynn to prison instead of probation. And then Mike Flynn had his whoa, hold up, hold up moment. And he asked for a delay, a continuance of his sentencing date so he could keep working with the government, with the prosecutors and providing them information about bigger
criminal fish. Well, what happened after that, Brian? He filed a motion to withdraw his guilty plate and said, well, really, the FBI just kind of duped me or fooled me or mistreated me or targeted me because I was part of the Trump campaign, all of which was absolute horseshit. But what happened next?
Donald Trump pardoned Mike Flynn. What happened next? We're following the bouncing ball of corruption now. After the pardon, Mike Flynn files a lawsuit saying that, oh, the Department of Justice did me wrong. Remember, he pleaded
guilty under oath twice and affirmed that he had committed those crimes and that's why he was pleading guilty. Then he claimed, you know, I need 50 million dollars. That was the amount he was seeking from the federal government because DOJ did him wrong. Guess what happened to that lawsuit in December of 2024. It was dismissed. It was thrown out by a federal judge down in Florida of all places where Mike Flynn had filed that
lawsuit. So you would have thought that was the end of the story, right? No. Donald Trump comes back into power and Mike Flynn revives his request for millions of dollars from the government for DOJ doing him wrong back when he pleaded guilty originally. And today, Pam Bondi at the helm of the Department of Justice, undoubtedly approved by Donald Trump, paid out a reported $1.2 million of our tax money to Mike Flynn.
I mean, if this doesn't upset anger, infuriate, infuriate you, outrage you, I don't know what will. This is just more of the grift and corruption that, you know, basically defines the Trump presidency.
How can the DOJ just decide unto themselves by fiat that they can just hand out million dollar checks to people?
Well, so Mike Flynn had had filed an amended complaint after the case got thrown out down in Florida. So he was trying to dredge up that old claim. Why? Well, because now he's got a friendly audience, right? He doesn't have Merrick Garland anymore at the Department of Justice now he's got a friendly audience, right? He doesn't have
Merrick Garland anymore at the Department of Justice. He's got Pam Bondi. You don't think she's willing to pay out to a MAGA ally? This is the same damn Department of Justice that paid off the woman who was busting into the Capitol trying to stop a presidential election certification, trying to kill American democracy. DOJ gave her $5 million. Crime pays. If you're MAGA, crime pays.
But I guess the question is, how is it legal that the DOJ can just use our taxpayer dollars to just pay people out because they're ideologically aligned? Like, what's to stop them? If they can give Mike Flynn $1 million, if they can give the family of Ashley Babbitt $5 million, what's to stop them if they can give Mike Flynn a million dollars if they can give the family of Ashley
Babbitt five million dollars what's to stop them from giving the Trump family a hundred million dollars? I mean, how is how is how is there no safeguard against just using the federal government as a giant slush fund with no oversight?
Brian Donald Trump is the law. That's not the way it's supposed to be, but let's face it, that's the way it is. When you know you ask, you know, how can this be legal? It's probably not. But who's going to enforce the law? Who decides whether something's legal or not?
Pam Bondi. You know what I predict will happen next? Everybody that the Mueller probe and the Mueller prosecutors went after for the crimes they committed? Oh man, they're gonna be making claims left and right because if they just paid off Mike Flynn who pleaded guilty to the crimes he committed, don't you think the Manaforts and the Papadopoulos and the, you know, one after another after
another are gonna come running to the DOJ with their handouts saying, me too, me too, me too. And don't you think Pam Bondi will, you know, be standing ready to give our taxpayer money to all of these MAGA types who were involved in all kinds of misconduct during the first Trump administration?

Get started freeThis is open season on grift. It is virtually theft of our taxpayer money in a moral sense. Who is going to stop it? Not Donald Trump, not Pam Bondi. You know, we're going to have to go on the accountability and cleanup mission when the
rule of law comes back into the light of day. But as of right now, the bad guys are winning.
You had mentioned an accountability and cleanup mission, and that's exactly what I want to talk about but before I do just a quick note for anybody who's watching right now as more of this corruption overt corruption continues to spill into the spotlight we will absolutely commit to making sure to expose this stuff on a daily basis so if you're interested in legal news if you're interested in legal news that doesn't cower to this administration like much of the legacy media is the
best way to support our work which is is 100% free, is to subscribe to both of our channels. I'm going to put those links in the post description of this video. If you're not yet subscribed and you want to see more legal news, please make sure to subscribe. So, Glenn, is there any way to claw back these funds, for example, in the aftermath of the Trump administration?
Like, if you see a justice department that baselessly decided to hand out millions of dollars to Trump's political allies, is that something that's etched in stone? There's no way to claw that back? Or is there a world where if those funds were were found to be corruptly given, that there's a way to recover them for the taxpayers?
You know, I think accountability once a law abiding president is back in the Oval Office has got to look similar to the Nuremberg trials. I don't like to compare, you know, what happened during the Holocaust with the, you know, the autocracy that we're experiencing here in the United States, but I think the principles are the same. When you have a corrupt, criminal, abusive government in power committing all kinds of crimes against, in this instance, the American people. The only
thing that can be done to address it is putting together something akin to the Nuremberg Trials. Whether we call it the American Accountability Project or something else, you know, we need to make sure we go scorched earth after every crime that Trump and his criminal associates are committing presently and they're doing it right out in the open notoriously in the harsh light of day and they actually seem to be celebrating it and reveling in it. So
it is going to be up to the will of the American people, not just the will of the American politicians, to go on that accountability mission once we have the opportunity to. And Brian, if we don't, as far as I'm concerned, we don't get to keep our republic. If we keep dropping the accountability ball, all we're doing is signaling to tomorrow's tyrants and dictators and autocrats and, you know, wannabe kings and rulers that just go ahead because we're not in the business
of holding you folk accountable for your massive systemic conspiratorial crimes against the American people. And that's why, you know, when we have another No King's Day rally coming up here on Saturday, the 28th of March, people have got to be inspired to get out into the streets and march and rally and protest and petition the government for a redress of our grievances, peaceably assemble and petition the government.
We don't use peaceful as a punchline. We really mean it. But this is our time. And what I tell our viewers is if you're angry and upset, you're outraged, you're furious, don't despair. Don't disengage. Let it energize you and motivate you to take on this challenge.
Because, Brian, if we the people don't take on this challenge, then there's no way in hell we're going to win.
I 100% agree with you and I'm glad that you brought this up. I want to give you the opportunity to respond to, um, to, to critics who would say, you know what, as we continue to, as both sides continue to engage in behavior that seeks to hold, uh, the other party accountable, we just continue to, to, to circle this drain and exacerbate the demise of our democracy.
Shouldn't we just, you know, let sleeping dogs lie and move forward for the sake of the country? What do you say to those people?
Yeah, I say we try that in 1974 instead of holding Richard Nixon accountable for his crimes. Gerald Ford pardoned him for all crimes he committed in violation of our nation's laws and we were going to put the long national nightmare behind us by declining to hold a criminal president accountable. That gave birth to Donald Trump. We failed on the accountability mission again in 2021.
That actually gave birth to Donald Trump, the sequel. And now democracy is hanging by a thread. The rule of law is in a coma. We're about to lose it all if we don't fight for what's right. And it's not about, you know, there is some prohibition against prosecuting politicians for their crimes.
Like, if you have an R or a D next to your name, somehow you're off limits because the other party will accuse you of engaging in a politically motivated investigation or prosecution. Nothing could be further from the truth. What you do is you look at the facts.
You divorce politics. I don't care if it's an R, a D, an I, or no letter at all. You divorce politics from the calculation and you say, well, Donald Trump and his criminal associates committed a whole bunch of crimes and we've got the evidence to prove it. You don't decline to move forward because criticism will come.
It won't be well-founded criticism, but it will come if only for ideological reasons. You tune it out, you ignore it, and you go 100 miles an hour in the direction of apolitical accountability. That's the only way we get to keep our republic.
