Wat Khuha Phimuk
This Wat, 8km (5mi) from the town of Yala, is commonly called Wat Na Tham by the locals. It is believed to have been constructed in 757 and is in the Srivisaya period. It has a big cave inside which a large ancient Reclining Buddha is enshrined.

Three trains daily, coming from further south or starting in Yala, depart for Bangkok at 12:11 (arr 6:35), 13:00 (arr 7:05) and 15:05 (arr 10:00).

Betong is right at the Thai-Malaysian border, about 126km (79mi) from Yala.
