Delhi
History
Delhi's history stretches back to 3000 years ago. Indraprastha, the seat of the Pandavas in the early centuries of the era, was situated in Purana Quila, and is believed to be Delhi's earliest city. Repeated invasions have also struck the city at various times in the history - Timberline in the 14th century, Bah in the 16th century and the British in the 19th century were among those who invaded Delhi.
